I am hosting a Reddit AMA this morning (Ask Me Anything) on forest ecology and disturbances. Reddit, and in particular the subsection (subreddit) of Reddit for science, is a very large new aggregation site that has just shy of 15 million members, and many more visitors that are not registered.
The purpose of an AMA is talking with interested folk about the current state of science, and a great way to reach out to the interested broader public. The Reddit team has done an excellent job bringing in a variety of amazing speakers, and it's great fun to be a part of that.
