Talk at Western Washington University - Feb 10

If you're interested in a multiscale approach to forest dynamics in the North Pacific temperate rainforest - from California to Alaska - I'll be giving a talk at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA in February.

At the broadest scales, I'll be presented some of the latest material we have on regional yellow cedar decline and showcasing new data that colleagues at the USFS and BC Ministry of Forests painstakingly put together, showing the extent of this climate induced mortality.  I'll also be highlighting the regional work that I did with Tara Barrett, and then zooming in to very fine scales and plug the excellent work that John Krapek is doing on yellow cedar founder populations.  Should be fun!
