Clarence and Verle Kramer Internship opportunity

I'm excited to announce a new opportunity for students interested in Forest Ecology, especially those focused on either conservation or management.  The Clarence and Verle Kramer Internship is a new program I'm starting where students will be placed either with the State of Alaska Dept. of Forestry or a local conservation organization (depending on student interest).  The Kramer's were a couple who lived in Sitka many decades ago, active in both the pulp mill and the conservation scene, and a generous endowment has allowed us to offer this great opportunity.  Contact me for more info - 2016 applications are due by the end of January.
