New publication: Yellow-cedar

John Krapek (MS Student) and I recently wrote a short natural history brief for Frontiers in Ecology and Environment, and it just appeared in the June issue.  In it we explore the fascinating case of Alaska yellow-cedar, a beautiful tree cursed with a short dispersal distance and an unfortunate susceptibility to death in areas of declining snow pack due to climate warming.  It was quite fun to write!  Link on the publications page and through ESA.
