New publication: Water and forest mortality

Wrapping up work with the Western Water Assessment started a couple years ago, Ben Livneh (CU) and I have published a paper exploring the implications of different forest disturbance and recovery patterns on water resources in four watersheds near the headwaters of the Colorado River.  We found some interesting stuff which suggests increased water in the future as a result of decreased forest evapotranspiration.
