A major review and synthesis of disturbance interactions has just been accepted for publication in Ecosphere, the ESA's online, open access journal. In this synthesis, I look for commonalities across multiple biomes, trends in interaction research, the ways that these interesting phenomena may extend the reach of climate change, and opportunities for cross biome collaborations (for example, there's a lot of opportunity, only slightly explored, comparing coral reefs to tropical rainforests. Seriously!).
